The educational program of the Medical Specialty in Ophthalmology is aimed to offer formal training at the graduate level based on the principles of the integral development of man and focused on the training of specialties in the medical area of ophthalmology.
To complement the curriculum of this Medical Specialization in Ophthalmology, the candidate must dedicate three years full time. The study program begins on the first day of March of each year and ends on the last day of February of the following year.
The mission of the graduate program in Ophthalmology is to prepare medical specialists in the area of vision care, endowed with clinical scientific knowledge, in a framework of clinical experiences and surgical skills, with a solid ethical and service training.
